How to use this Guide

Before trying to get materials from other libraries, first make sure that VCU does not have access to it.  If you found something through a database, but cannot seem to get the full text, first watch the video below, "Access the Full Text of Articles: Get it at VCU," to make sure VCU does not own it.  Once you are sure we don't have it, explore the options here to get the materials you need.

Finding the Full Text of an Article (AKA, "Get it at VCU")

Ever get stumped trying to get to the full text of an article?  This video shows you how to get the full text when you just can’t seem to find it.

If you need a refresher on search strategies, check out the resources on our Start my Research Guide, or How do I Find Books, Articles, and More.

Need to request something through interlibrary loan?  Watch our step-by-step video.
