What is BrowZine?

BrowZine is a new way to browse, read, monitor and organize scholarly journals on your iPad or Android tablet.

What journals are included?

It includes Open Access and many subscription journal titles from VCU Libraries.  New titles are added on a regular basis.  You can view a current list of publishers at the BrowZine website.

How do I get started with BrowZine?

To download

  • From your tablet, go to the App Store for your device, search for "browzine" and install the free app.
  • When you open BrowZine for the first time, select Virginia Commonwealth University from the library list.
  • Enter your VCU eID username and password when prompted.
  • Select a subject area and start browsing!

What else can BrowZine do?

BrowZine can help you create a personal virtual bookshelf of favorite journals.  It can alert you when new issues of journals are published.  And you can easily share or save articles to RefWorks, Zotero, Mendeley and other services.
