OLD How Do I Request Resources?

A step by step guide on how to request copies, chapters, books, media, and other materials housed in the VCU Libraries collections or from another library.

Included are some High School Affiliates, Board of Visitors, VIVA Cooperative Borrowing participants, RALC patrons and other affiliates.  These patrons are not issued a VCU eID. 

Services include the following:

  • Fill requests for copies (articles, chapters, excerpts for printed work) of materials located in the VCU Libraries storage collections. Copy requests are digitized and delivered electronically.
  • Fill requests for Loans (books, CDs, DVDs, dissertations, microforms and entire works) located in storage. Items are held for pick up at one of the libraries.
