The Atlas contains more than 160 community health indicators for every city, county, and health planning district in Virginia. The categories include health-related demographics, maternal and infant health, mortality, hospitalization, health coverage, adult health risk, and child health risk. The indicators can be used to produce a quick community health assessment, inform strategic plans, support program development, justify funding requests, and more. Users can also browse an accompanying map book of selected indicators.
