About the Gallery

The Tompkins-McCaw Library Gallery presents original exhibits of visual art pertaining to the health sciences or art created by students or professionals in health-sciences fields. Incorporated into the main first-floor study and browsing area, the gallery is intended to foster dialogue among patrons about the interplay of science, creativity and beauty.

Featuring an Arakawa hanging system, the gallery provides approximately 120 feet of wall space along the north and east walls of the first floor that is lit by wall washing light fixtures.

  • Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. - Midnight

  • Friday 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

  • Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • Sunday 9:00 a.m. - Midnight
