Dissertations may be useful for finding criticism on newer authors or specialized topics, and the bibliographies of recent dissertations can often provide a wealth of new sources.
Print materials having to do with NAIS are located across all of VCU Libraries' collections and locations. Call numbers E51-E99 are one place to start when looking for historical material. Another approach is to look at the content with related subject headings, like those below. You may also wish to add the names of specific tribes, bands or nations to the search to narrow your results.
