Type of Industry (Hint: look for NAICS codes)
ABI Inform Search for a company name and see if it shows up in a report about a   specific industry.
Business Search Complete Search for a company name and see if it shows up in a report about a   specific industry.
Company Corporate Website Find the corporate website of your company and navigate tabs such as   "About", "History", and "Leadership".
Dow Jones Factiva Search in the companies/market tab
IBISWorld Search company name - If a company profile is in IBISWorld, it shows up in the relevant industry report.
Morningstar type in name of company and then go to analysis and it tells what type of   industry the company is
Plunkett Research Online Search company name to access company profile. Industry type and NAICS code are listed under Type of Business
S&P NetAdvantage Look under Primary Industry Classification tab
Value Line located in top left next to industry rank and in industry analysis
Country of Origin (Location/Headquarters)
Dow Jones Factiva Go to Companies & Markets tab, search by company name. Found within   the same snapshot overview as industry type
IBISWorld Search company, select associated industry report. Scroll down to Major companies/ major players. Found under company description.
Plunkett Research Click research a company, type in the name of company, the country of origin is located at the top of the profile under 'Address'
S&P NetAdvantage Under primary office location
Listing Date (aka IPO (Initial Public Offering))
Company Corporate Website Sometimes listed under 'Stock Information'
Google Google company name + IPO date
Ticker Symbol (A unique series of letters assigned to a stock for trading purposes)
Dow Jones Factiva Located in the Company's Snapshot Overview
Morningstar Search company name. Ticker is next to the company name on the upper left   side.
Plunkett Research Online Click 'Research a Company', type in the name of the company, click on your company. Ticker Symbol is located under the company profile at the top. 
S&P NetAdvantage Search company name, Look under "ticker" in the top right column.
Value Line search company name and ticker symbol is in the top left next to   the company name
Macroeconomics (Overall economic factors (e.g. inflation, gas prices, unemployment)
ABI Inform search for company or industry news from trade journals
Business Search Complete search for company or industry news from trade journals
IBISWorld Search by company name, click on relevant industry report - Under the 'Major Companies' tab, macroeconomic trends and factors that affect the industry are discussed. Info can also be found under financial performance within the industry report.
Value Line some information found under commentary and industry analysis
Company Corporate Website Check Annual Reports, investor information and news. Companies will post their values and stances/regulations towards impactful world events (e.g. COVID/the war in Ukraine) on their websites. 
Microeconomics (Individual/company level factors (e.g. store closings, hiring)
ABI Inform search for company or industry news from trade journals
Business Search Complete search for company or industry news from trade journals
Company Corporate Website Check Annual Reports, investor information and news. Smaller issues that affect the company (e.g. a new CEO) will be posted to the company corporate website. 
IBISWorld Search for a company by name and select the relevant industry report. Under the 'Major companies' tab, factors affecting the company are discussed
Morningstar On top of page after you search your company there is bar that says news,   click on that and you get microeconomics related to company
Plunkett Research Online Found in company profile under "Description"
Value Line Search company name under "Browse Research" and you can find   company-specific information regarding stocks, mutual funds, and convertible   investments.
