Photography Project Overview

For a photography project, you need a way to take photos. The best option for your project depends on the project specifics and your technical proficiency.

Best Quality Equipment

DSLRs are digital cameras with interchangeable lenses. There is a high demand for The Workshop’s DSLRs, so it can be helpful to check our online catalog to see if we have any available. The catalog is updated in real-time.

Canon T6i or T3i DSLR - Digital cameras with interchangeable lenses. The Workshop’s Canons come with a 18-55mm lens. Other lenses available. This system enables shooting in a wide variety of conditions, from bright sunlight to dim indoor settings.

Tripod - Set up your camera on a tripod to make sure your footage is steady. Always use a tripod if possible.

General Purpose Equipment

If the DSLRs are not available, The Workshop also has Canon Powershot digital cameras.

Canon Powershot SX620 - Compact digital camera (commonly called a point and shoot). Takes excellent photos without a lot of user effort. Also capable of recording HD 1080p video at 30 fps.
