You can access The Chronicle of Higher Education from off-campus with your VCU eID and password.
After you’ve logged into The Chronicle using your VCU eID and password, you can set up your own Chronicle account using your VCU email address and a password of your own choice.
Once you’ve created your own Chronicle account, you will not have to use your eID and password to access The Chronicle. Instead, you simply connect to The Chronicle website and login in with your VCU email address and your selected password. A Chronicle account gives you additional benefits, such as email newsletters of headline content, commenting, and a personal profile to tailor notices to you.
To create a personal account, first make sure you’ve logged into The Chronicle and can see “Site License Access Provided by Virginia Commonwealth University” in the upper left corner. To create your own account, click on 'sign in' in the top right corner.
