VCU requires investigators and key personnel to complete the Collaborative IRB Training Initiative (CITI) Basic Course in either Biomedical or Social-Behavioral Research as baseline entry into human subjects research at VCU.
The staff of the National Scholarship Office is available to discuss national scholarships with students and alumni. The staff also works with nominated students to strengthen their applications, gather supplementary materials and prepare them for potential interviews.
VCU requires that within 1 year of appointment, all postdoctoral scholars must provide to the Office of Postdoctoral Services verification of having completed an approved educational program in responsible conduct of research.
