Military Student Services

VCU's Military Student Services page provides resources and advocacy for our student veterans. Resources range from scholarship opportunities, enrollment help, tutoring and career services, to disability support and wellness counseling.  

Public Libraries

Library of Virginia offers borrowing privileges to any resident of Virginia. Photo identification, proof of residence, and current address are required. Online and mail registrations are available. 

Public libraries offer borrowing privileges to anyone living in their region. Some of the resources available through your local public library may include:

  • Thousands of books available for checkout
  • Ebooks that can be downloaded to your cell phone, ereader or tablet
  • Access to popular magazines via your cell phone, ereader or tablet
  • DVDs and music
  • Research databases
  • Comfortable facilities to read or study
  • Community events and programming
