When developing your search strategy, it is helpful to brainstorm variations or synonyms of the key concepts you're researching.  For example, if you are researching adolescent psychology, you might try different combinations of the following search terms:

"identity formation" or sexuality

 

When researching adolescence, you might choose specific developmental trajectories, such as: puberty, or concepts associated with adolescence, like "substance use""social media", or "body image"
