Log on to ILLiad

Included are some High School Affiliates, Board of Visitors, VIVA Cooperative Borrowing participants, RALC patrons, VCU alumni, McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center and other affiliates. These patrons do not have a VCU eID. 

Services include the following:

  • Scanned copies of articles and chapters of physical items owned by VCU Libraries. All copies are delivered electronically. Please note that due to copyright restrictions from publishers, we are unable to share copies from eJournals and eBooks to patrons who are not current students and employees. 
  • Loans (books, DVDs, etc) of physical items owned by VCU Libraries. Items are held for pick up at one of the libraries.

Before registering with ILLiad to submit your requests for items located in storage, create a library account by contacting the main service desks in the James Branch Cabell Library or the Health Sciences Library.

Members of the general public with no affiliation with VCU Libraries are not eligible for these services. Contact your local academic, public, state or special library for assistance in requesting materials from other libraries.
