Grey Literature is a valuable supplement to peer reviewed literature in addictions. Authored by researchers and practitioners in all levels of government, universities, corporations, research organizations, NGOs, and professional organizations, grey literature includes:  country profiles, data & statistics, clinical trial registries, policy documents, in-depth reports, white papers, more.

Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) Search Engine

IGOs from every world region play a significant role in regional politics, global governance, and international drug control efforts. Search across hundreds of IGO websites for drug abuse prevention, treatment, and policy documents.

Non-govermental Organization (NGO) Search Engine

This is a good place to locate stakeholders. NGO's, also referred to as "civil society" organizations, bring public concerns to governments, monitor policy and programme implementation, and play an important role in policy decisions, including those related to drugs.

Think Tank Search Engine (Policy)

A good supplement to IGO/ NGO searches for content from institutions affiliated with universities, governments, advocacy groups, foundations, non-governmental organizations, and businesses that generate public policy research and analysis.The list represents a mixture of partisan and non-partisan think tanks.
