Downloading Ebooks and Ebook Chapters

O'Reilly does not have an option for chapter or entire book PDF downloads. You can print pages directly from the web browser. Visit ProQuest's O'Reilly LibGuide for an overview of their interface.

Linking to Ebooks

The best ebook link to provide library users is the Primo (library website) permalink, since direct links to the O'Reilly ebook site may not connect them with VCU Libraries' subscription access, even if the link contains VCU's proxy. Additionally, finding a permalink that includes "alma" (rather than "cdi") in the last part of the URL is your best bet, since those records are more likely to be stable.

A direct link to the ebook is currently not recommended for the O'Reilly platform.
