The Student Success collection in Cabell Library includes books to help you develop critical skills for academic success and career readiness. The collection is located on the first floor to the right as you move out of the lobby toward the work spaces, near the accessibility station. Books in this collection may be checked out for 28 days.
Video library of career information and career planning help. Contains informational interviews with industry professionals in a wide variety of career areas.
Career intelligence and exploration resources, including company rankings, employer profiles, employee reviews, internships, guidebooks, and articles across a wide range of industries.
Advance your career success through individual advising, career resources, and guides, including ways to search for jobs, internships, and other experiential and employment opportunities; customized career events focused on skill-building; learning about industries and career paths; and networking opportunities.
This web-based mock interview program combines a curriculum of video lessons with virtual practice to help you improve your interview skills and increase the likelihood of landing a job.

If your course or experiential learning opportunity requires you to produce an artifact of learning (like an e-portfolio, multimedia project, or other type of capstone project), VCU Libraries has resources that can help.
Access hardware, software, spaces and expertise to produce creative work of all kinds. Advance your creative skills through workshop-style sessions, equipment demonstrations, one-on-one assistance, and online resources, and knowledgeable staff on hand to assist.
