Start with these resources when looking for biomedical or basic science literature. Publishers gather different resources for their collections, so even though you may see considerable overlap, we recommend searching across multiple databases.
Can't find what you need? VCU Libraries collects materials useful to its researchers, but no library can purchase everything. Fortunately, VCU Libraries participates in programs that allow us to borrow materials from other libraries, at no cost to you. If you need a resource that is not part of our collection, or if a book that you need is checked out, you can request it for free through our InterLibrary Loan service.
